Perks of the NWM Industry
Yes all of us involved in the industry will admit that it is a great one to be involved in. Nothing like having the ability to fashion your own path to destiny. Most people cannot say they are forging their own path, rather they are helping forge someone else’s, usually a boss. What a difference In network marketing were you have a choice to create your own destiny. I mention this first and foremost as a perk that leads to so many others.
For instance, money now isn’t that a nice perk. Nothing like a few extra dollars to allow you to do some of the things you’d like to do in life. Look at me, I’m writing this thought provoking piece from the confines of a Boeing 777 on my way to Hainan Island, China. A few extra dinero that I have made in the biz has allowed me to take this pleasure trip without putting an undue strain on my finances. Now if I had only been a little smarter and checked-in online a couple of hours earlier I might have a window seat. Can you believe it sitting in the middle seat of the middle section. Yuck. Anyway, extra money does open up distinct new possibilities.
Traveling is one of those possibilities and not necessarily the kind like I am doing presently. To keep your team and business growing often requires relocation within your local area and to other areas in business building activities. If you like to travel. This is the business to be in.
Meeting new people. This is a given. You are constantly expanding your circle of acquaintances some of which grow into close and life long friends. I’m talking to my two seatmates with renewed interest as you can well imagine. What other industry can you work in that will reward you with new and deep relationships all the time.
Personal Development. This business is personal growth development with a compensation plan attached. The leaders within your company, the books you read, the CDs you listen to, the webinars you attend and the list goes on. Incredible how you change with the new knowledge and insight gained from all these resources.
Recognition as a perk. Yes it is true you often get recognized in other industries, but not to the extent you do in network marketing when you produce results. It can happen when you attain a leadership level, make a promotion bonus, or maybe in the recognition portion of a public meeting. In our industry we truly recognize people who achieve.
Perks, I have briefly touched on a few of them. Hope you are getting yours. They are out there to be had by all who seek.
